Meet The Team
Coach Liam
I've been training in boxing for over five years and have gained my experience through amateur competition, regular sparring with experienced amateurs and professional fighters, and a commitment to constantly improving my skills. As both an active competitor and coach, I bring real, up to date boxing experience into every class.
I'm passionate about helping people become fitter, stronger, and more confident through boxing. I believe the lessons you learn in the gym like discipline, resilience, and hard work carry over into everyday life. My goal is to create a positive environment where everyone feels welcome, enjoys training, and is encouraged to push themselves.
Whether you're stepping into a boxing gym for the first time or you're an experienced boxer looking to sharpen your skills, I'm committed to helping you improve. I focus on building strong fundamentals, developing sound technique, and helping every member reach their own goals while enjoying the journey.
Coach Cooper
I have been dedicated to boxing for the past two years, building my experience through training, sparring with high level amateur and professional boxers, learning from a variety of experienced coaches, and competing as an amateur in the sport.
I have a strong respect for the discipline and tradition of boxing, and I bring a passion for helping others improve both inside and outside the gym. My coaching style focuses on hard work, continuous improvement, and creating an environment where everyone regardless of their experience level is treated equally, supported, and encouraged to reach their potential.
Whether it’s your first time in the gym, someone looking to improve their fitness, or a fighter wanting to develop their skills, I enjoy helping people achieve their goals. My approach combines boxing technique, fitness, conditioning, and practical skills to help members build confidence, improve their health, and develop a stronger mindset.
Coach Lachy
I've been training in Muay Thai, kickboxing and boxing for 5 years now with a main focus in western style Muay Thai. With 10 fights under the belt and a few kicklights I bring modern and real experience into my classes which is always refreshed and updated as the sport evolves through my continued time in the ring.
I bring a playful yet serious attitude during my classes, making sure everyone has a fair go and has a space to develop there own style to bring into the sport. My classes are generally slower paced focusing on technique and live drills as opposed to a cardio boxing class. Wether it's for fitness or competition I will teach real and practical techniques for both self defence or for the ring.
While coaching at northend I hope to bring a fun and engaging experience to my classes, whilst challenging my students to develop strong discipline and mindsets that they are able to apply in their daily life while also becoming more confident in themselves. Let's get scrapping
